The Style House Story...

The Beginning...

I was studying design at a local college when I attended my first trade show as a student. Filled with awe and excitement by the talented designers and all that was available to me from around the world, I knew in that moment that I would open a retail business and bridge the gap between my community and the amazing goods I was surrounded by. I've been in business ever since and my passion for fashion has only grown!

The Middle...

I started off selling at house parties and local festivals. It was a great way to get the word out about Style House and a lot of fun too! The only problem was transporting the merchandise from place to place by myself. It was physically exhausting. And I often lost breakables in transport. Through making connections, I began to sell out of local shops. This reduced the hauling of merchandise by a large degree but I was missing the personal connection with my customers. Apparnetly they were missing me too, because they started calling me directly so they could work with me. Through those calls, my home-based personal shopping/styling business came to fruition.
